Opportunity Grants for CCBC Non-Credit Courses

Casino Dealer Training at CCBC is designed to train individuals for a career as a casino table games or poker dealer. There are two pathways in the Casino Dealer Training at CCBC: Casino Poker Dealer at Owings Mills offers the 80-hour course that prepares students to be new casino poker dealers. After completion of this course, students will be. Casino Dealer Training classes will start Monday, Feb. 2, at CCBC in Owings Mills. After a series of classes lasting between 6 and 10 weeks, students may earn the CCBC Casino Dealer Certificate. Casino Dealer Training. Description: This series of courses prepares students with the skills needed to become casino table game dealers. Certification in any two casino dealer games makes students job ready for any casino table game positions.
Opportunity grants are need-based awards given to non-credit students who demonstrate financial need. Recipients can use the awards for tuition and fees of selected courses after all other non-loan-based financial aid resources have been exhausted.
Students are eligible for only one grant per fiscal year (i.e., July 1 through June 30).
